A court in Magdeburg (East Germany) began the trial of four Nazi-fascist last December handed a severe beating Ecuadorian student José Luis Casco, 24. Prosecutors accused
four Nazi-fascists, two of whom were presented today in court that judged them, brutally beating the boy, even kicked in the head when he lay on the ground, and cause serious injury.
The German court seeks to establish, also, when the aggression suffered by the student was "xenophobic motives", as pointed out by the Embassy of Ecuador in Berlin.
The incident took place last December 18, when José Luis Hull and his two companions, one German and one Mexican, were attacked by four Nazi-fascist at a bus stop in Magdeburg.
After the beating, in which offenders were baited with young Ecuador, José Luis Casco had to be rushed to hospital with a broken nose and injuries throughout the body.
Shortly thereafter, the charge d'affaires in Berlin Ecuador, authorities visited the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs to seek clarification of the facts, "as soon" as possible, and to demand punishment of the perpetrators.
The Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry stressed then the "will of the German Government to work with the case in detail, as a state policy and the fight against the Nazi-fascist groups."
